We've been using the property
since early July

We supplemented the donations collected by St. John’s Day with short-term loans from private individuals, which allowed us to pay the second installment on time; together with the down payment, this amounts to 80% of the purchase price. We are deeply grateful for the widespread support from donors and those who provided personal loans, to everyone who wholeheartedly supports our cause!

We are continuing to collect donations to pay off the short-term loans, cover the third installment of the purchase price, and fund the renovation.

At the end of May, we held a WHITSUN GATHERING here at the future community centre. The venue was filled with life and spirit by around 100 participants: Singing, the Gospel, craft activities, games, talks, conversations, eurythmy with Whitsun themes, biographical work, excerpts from the Mystery Dramas, poems set to music and jazz music... The charity bazaar raised 3,700 euros in donations. It was very heartening to see just how versatile this venue is in supporting community-building for children, young people and adults.

The property is located in the Ófalu district of Solymár, in a garden city setting with good infrastructure. It is easily accessible by both car and public transport.

The property comprises a single-story residential building situated along the street and at the side of the property line, as well as a detached villa built in 1994 in the Makovecz style. The street-facing residential building dates back to the 1930s and requires renovation. It contains two apartments, a commercial space facing the street, and an open storage area.
